When I post a macro it also posts the "shortcut"
For example...if my macro sentence says... "Will you go to lunch with me today?" and my shortcut is ...lunchx... it appears like this ↓
lunchx Will you go to lunch with me today?
Does anyone know how I can prevent the shortcut from appearing before the macro sentence? It has not always done this....it's just started happening in the last month or so.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.
Hi @JEANNIE HILL ,
Can you maybe share some additional details about the macro? Is it a native one, or are you using some Marketplace app and their macros?
Also, it would be great if you could share screenshots of what you're referring to.
Cheers,
Tobi

Thanks Tom
I'm just using my iPad macro system in settings where I can just type in the sentence I want to appear and then type the macro shorcut
It's really simple, but it's started showing the shortcut just prior to the sentence and I don't know why it's doing that...the shortcut shouldn't show up at all.
Phrase → ...Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness -Rom 4:3
Shortcut → absx
instead of just showing the sentence, it shows the shortcut too, at the beginning ↓
absx ...Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness - Rom 4:3

Apologies Jeannie - been a busy week and this just came up on my review list.
Yeah... Sadly, I don't have an iPad to try to replicate that behaviour :/
I've tried checking open bugs but I'm unsure if there's one related to the problem you're experiencing 👀
I'd recommend reaching out to Support team as they probably have the equipment for trying to replicate this and they could assist you with it.
