Maco - Status not doing what example shows. No Choices

I am trying to learn how to use the Status macro in Confuence and the documentation say "Choose Status from the Confluence content category" but Status is not in the Confluence content category.  And when I use the Status macro that is in All, it does not work the way the example states.  There is not a configurable list that can be predefined.  The help references something that I should be able to see in the Profile -> Add Status... I don't see that either.  Am I missing a configuration step in my Confluence Cloud?  Thanks in advance for your attempt to help.

When you edit a page in Confluence, click on "+" you should be able to see Status on the list. Attached is a screenshot.

What are you trying to do please?
