I'm trying to use confluence documents as a knowledge for my IDE's ai copilot to use a reference for development practices and org wide knowledge.

are confluence documents automatically vectorized and indexed for efficient llm ingestion via the atlassian mcp server.

Hi @Tenno Skoom , 

Confluence Cloud does not automatically vectorize and index all documents for general LLM ingestion out of the box. However, with Rovo (available in Premium and Enterprise plans), Confluence content is automatically indexed using vector embeddings for Atlassian's internal AI features like search, chat, and agents.

For your case, if you're on Free/Standard, upgrade to Premium for Rovo, or use APIs/connectors (ex: via AWS Bedrock or LangChain) to manually pull and vectorize content in your own vector DB like Pinecone.
