Lost/deleted draft

I was using confluence and had put hours of work into a draft. I left the draft open in my tabs and would come back to it everyother day.

However one morning it had deleted itself. I've checked everything that has been suggested on the Q&As, checked my history, my document history... but nothing. I would really appreciate if someone could help me out here :)

Have you looked in the Drafts list on your Home page?

@t_cravero Sorry, but this is the extent of my expertise in this area. Hopefully, someone else will chime in.

For future reference, in your writing situation, I generally publish the page with just the title and make it restricted to just myself while I write the rest of it. As I'm working with unpublished changes, even though Confluence saves as I go, I generally Close the page at the end of each day (just in case my computer restarts for any reason, like IT installs updates).
