Hi,

I'm looking for ways to automatically calculate the total scores for features based on reviewer scores, and then calculate the overall score of a book. Imagine four reviewers want to score a book based on features. For ex, there are 4 features, 1, 2, 3, and 4. Each feature should be scored on a scale of 1-5. How can I automatically calculate the total score of each feature and the overall score of the book. In addition, what are the different ways to also  pull the Jiras for features on confluence. Can you please suggest ways how the score can be provided on a confluence page.

Thank you.

Hi @Paramita Bhattacharya

We can suggest trying the app that we develop - Table Filter, Charts and Spreadsheets for Confluence.

You may create tables with scores that are manually entered by the reviewers.

To calculate everything in Excel-like style using cell formulas, you may use the Table Spreadsheet macro.

If you prefer ti work with native Confluence tables, then the Pivot Table and Table Transformer macro will do the trick with calculations.

What concerns your question about Jira, you may use both native new Jira and Legacy Jira macros to pull the list of the required issues to Confluence pages. Our macros also support dynamic tabular macros, so you'll be able to turn your issues into a live spreadsheet or a regular table with further aggregation/calculations.

If you are not familiar with the app, please book a call with the team - we'll show the use case live.

Thanks. I have tried the table spreadsheet. But need more information on Jiras and other methods. I have booked a call to understand more. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the insights and the valuable suggestions. I have another question. When fetching Jiras using the Spreadsheet from Table macro, the Jiras do not have hyperlinks. Is there a way to fetch the Jira link, so it's clickable? Thanks

Hi @Paramita Bhattacharya ,

As we've contacted directly, I'll post a short answer here for anybody who may come across this thread:

So far links integration from Jira is not yet supported by the Spreadsheet from Table macro - we have a corresponding task in our backlog, we have added your vote and will keep you posted on this in the future.
