I'm looking for a topics collection macro that is – embedded on a meeting minutes parent page – as easy to use as the decision macro and lets users enter topics for the next meeting to be discussed.
A topics list should be embeddable on the page.
In the meetings I'd like to pick topics from the list to be discussed and be able to easily remove them from the topics list. Current workaround is to have a table with 4 columns: date (entered), name (me who adds it), topic and description (or notes), then manually move the text over to the meeting minute page and remove it from the table.
I wonder if there's anything like that already available that I couldn't find scrolling through the list of macros.
A perfect world macro would fill the new meeting minutes with the open topics or even lets me quickly move them from open to the meeting with 1 click so they are gone from the parent list and available in the meeting minutes. Everything we can't make will stay "open".
Confluence Cloud doesn’t currently include a built‑in macro that behaves like a “topics collection” with automatic add‑move‑remove functionality between parent and child pages. The closest native tools are the Task report or Decision report macros, which can list items created with the Task or Decision macros across pages and filter them by labels or page hierarchy. You could adapt that pattern by creating a parent “Topics backlog” page where each new topic is a task (using `[] topic text`), then embed a Task report macro on your meeting minutes template filtered by label or parent page.
