Hi,
we have a customer with an on-premise installation of JIRA and Confluence. Everything is working fine so far.
I've tested the login via url with these settings:
<confluence-url>/dashboard.action?os_username=<username>&os_password=<password>It does not work - the page (still available for anonymous access) just opens without the user being logged in. I've tested this several months ago, and I could swear it worked like a charm! Manual login with the credentials is working. Also tried the method on another area wthout anonymous access - also not working.
As far as I know, nothing has been changed since the last test.
Any ideas, where to look at?
Alternatively, any ideas to accomplish this with another approach? There are users without personal account and email. They should be logged in automatically. But they must not be able to see/access areas from other company departments. Hence, anonymous access is no longer possible. Other users have their own accounts, there should not be any automatic login. The idea was to seperate the users in groups and apply different GPOs.
Any help/idea would be much appreciated! Thanks for reading this! :-)
Cheers
Lars
