Live Status filter to work on Excel macro based Table

1. on a new confluence page,
   I have used Excel macro to get the excel file. After using this macro i can see the excel table in confluence. Also one of the column name is Status and have Status values for various rows as Open, Closed,etc
2. Next i wanted to use Live Status drop down filter with different Status option Such as Open, Closed, etc.
3. Now i am stuck and while trying to select the dropdown Option from Live Status drop down filter, it does not work on the Excel table displayed( embedded in Excel Macro)

any suggestions, how could i be successful for Step 3. Appreciate your prompt response.

You'll be able to import your existing xlsx/csv file into Confluence and continue to work with it right on a Confluence page from the page view/edit mode using all the basic Excel functions (cell formulas, data verification (cell dropdowns), filtration, conditional formatting, etc.).

Hi, thanks for your reply.

However my question is very specific about how to connect 

“Live Status Macro” with “ Excel Macro”. So that on changing the Status from Live Status drop down should filter the Excel table derived from Excel Macro which has Status as one of the column.

please let me know if its possible to link the above said macro to work together.
