I am trying to link on a Confluence page to an internal file repository. I copy the https web link, go into Confluence > Edit > Insert Link. The Web Link and Advanced do not bring up the blue Insert button at the lower right. If I click through the other options, there are files under Files that are not mine (they are all screen shots on the page). Confluence then selects the top one (or another one if I click on it) to link to my inserted link. I cannot get a web link to show up, even if I go back into Edit Link and paste the link again and click Save.
This is happening on both Chrome and IE.
The files in the URL are PPT and DOCs and do not have special characters, etc. in them.
Any thoughts on if there is something in my settings I need to change or if there is a workaround? None of my other colleagues are having this issue.
