Link content from main document so changes affect any pages where the content is reused.

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's possible to have a 'main' document with text that you can link to other pages so the content is reused without having to rewrite it?

I found information regarding excerpt macro but it's important that the linked content gets updated in all pages where it's reused, if an update is done in the main document, and my understanding was that this was not the case with excerpt macro?

I'm grateful for your help!

You  are wrong about the excerpt macro.  If the content the macro is pointed at is changed (i.e. the data in the "main document") then the pages using the macro will be rendered with the new text the next time they are visited (or refreshed)
