i've installed Jira and confluence both latest LTS versions and now im trying to link confluence to the Jira user system per the standard setup steps.  After entering all the connection details for jira admin and the url for jira, confluence fails to perform the link with a generic system error page.

Checking the logs at /var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/logs/atlassian-confluence.log

there is an error static it cannt read table AO_21F425_MESSAGE_AO.

Upon checking this is a Jira database table, for context i have installed jira on a dedicated jira DB schema, and confluence on a confluence schema, none are on public.

So in my mind this suggests confluence is unable to access the DB table on the jira schema.

I have granted the database, and also the database user full permissions on the jira schema, yet it still cant reach it.

I also have tried ammending the database and user search path to be jira, confluence, "$user", public as well as trying just jira on its own.

None of the above steps allow confluence to reach the DB table so i cannot link them together.

For additional content i would like to run both from a single database as we must import a legacy H2 databases into it so cannot run seperate databases.

I have also installed on seperate databases and setup application link to prove it does work, however the solution im looking for is from a single database.

I've trualed the internet and the only posts i can find are people struggling with XML imports which is not the case for me as this is a fresh install.
