How can I create a label list that shows only labels of a certain page and all children pages below?

Hi @Stefan Fuerstenhoefer and welcome,

if u use Filter by Label macro, you can add a filter "Parent item" and specify the root page to scan to retrieve subpages with your label.

it should satisfy your need.

Hi @Stefan Fuerstenhoefer

Can you, please, share the details about your use case?

If you just need to display a list of pages with a specific label on a particular page, then @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_'s suggestion works perfectly.

If it's more complex, such as displaying content with a specific label in an actual page tree in a space, you'll have to use different methods.

Hey @Stefan Fuerstenhoefer ,

If you'd like something like Labels list but only for a specific parent page and its sub-pages, there isn't a straightforward way to get that 🫤

We haven't found any open suggestions for having additional filters for this macro, so it might be worth checking with Atlassian Support if they could create a new feature request 👀

What would definitelly work is having a custom solution that works via REST API, but that, as Kris said, might be a bit complicated.

What you or your admin could try (if you have AI enabled), is this new Studio feature that actually builds an app for you based on your requirements: Build custom Forge apps in Rovo Studio - no code required!
Now, it's far from ideal, and the feature is still in beta, but basically, we're talking about having the ability to build custom solutions quite easily if an out-of-the-box solution doesn't exist.
Anyway, it might be worth checking out 🤔

*I'll leave my Rovo to try and build something like that, so I can share if anything good comes out.

Cheers,
Tobi
