Korean characters are displayed as ��� in Linkbox

It occurs on both Standard pages and Live Documents

[Issue]

• A missing Korean character appear as ���.
• This bug sometimes disappears upon a page refresh, but reappear later.
• "���" occurs randomly. It may affect only one linkbox, or it may appear in several, or not appear on an entire page. There was also a time when all linkboxes on a page showed ���.

Given that the issue occurs across various OS and Browsers, It is suspected to be a problem within Confluence itself.

Please help me with this issue.

I believe the general recommendation from Atlassian is to use non-Chromium browsers like Firefox or Safari, but as you've mentioned, this also appears to be an issue in Firefox, so that's not an option 😕

There are a couple of reported bugs when it comes to Korean characters, but I'm not sure this specific behavior is reported there:

• CONFCLOUD-78501: Characters duplicated on page update (non-english character sets) 
• CONFCLOUD-81897: Korean Characters Split into Consonants and Vowels When Using "Ctrl+F" in Confluence Page Edit Mode with Cloud editor 
• CONFCLOUD-81898: Atlassian Sans and Atlassian Mono support rendering CJK characters. 
• CONFCLOUD-82309: Input lag when typing Korean and Japanese characters in Page Edit experience 

What the recommendation here would be is to reach out to Atlassian Support as they have dedicated language support teams that could test this and potentially suggest a workaround until this is resolved. 👀
