[Example]

  1. 데이터 정의어 → 데이터 의어
  2. 설정 → 정

[Environment]

  • Windows 11 (Firefox, Chrome)
  • Android Confluence app

It occurs on both Standard pages and Live Documents

[Issue]

  • A missing Korean character appear as .
  • This bug sometimes disappears upon a page refresh, but reappear later.
  • "" occurs randomly. It may affect only one linkbox, or it may appear in several, or not appear on an entire page. There was also a time when all linkboxes on a page showed .

Given that the issue occurs across various OS and Browsers, It is suspected to be a problem within Confluence itself.

Please help me with this issue.

Hi @오차필 ,

I believe the general recommendation from Atlassian is to use non-Chromium browsers like Firefox or Safari, but as you've mentioned, this also appears to be an issue in Firefox, so that's not an option 😕

There are a couple of reported bugs when it comes to Korean characters, but I'm not sure this specific behavior is reported there:

What the recommendation here would be is to reach out to Atlassian Support as they have dedicated language support teams that could test this and potentially suggest a workaround until this is resolved. 👀
