Hello Atlassian Team,
My Atlassian Cloud site (Free plan) at:
https://phylliskaiqiyong-cos20031.atlassian.net
was deactivated due to inactivity. I received deactivation emails on
5 November 2025 for both Jira and Confluence.
I am now unable to access the site and would like to ask:
1) Is there any possibility of recovering or restoring the data?
2) If recovery is not possible, can Atlassian confirm whether the data
has been permanently deleted and on what date?
The content is related to academic coursework, so any confirmation
would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.
Hello @Phyllis Kai Qi YONG
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
There is a grace period after deactivation when the subscription can be reactivated and the data restored. You can find guidance on reactivation here:
https://support.atlassian.com/subscriptions-and-billing/docs/reactivate-a-subscription/
You want to follow the steps in the first section, not the section that talks about starting a trial.
I have seen different information about the grace period being 15 or 60 days depending on subscription types. At the end of the grace period the data is permanently deleted.
If you want to contact Atlassian support directly about this, complete and submit the form at this page:
https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/
As a user community we are not able to access other users' environments so we can't help you directly.
Normally this cannot be recovered. Once gone, that's gone.
You can try opening a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/contact but the chances they'll be able to restore anything is slim to none.
