JIRA - Migrating from Self-Server to Cloud

Hello,

Our license number is SEN-xxxxxx and serverID xxxx. It is confluence version is 5.5.2. 

I would like to migrate all confluence from our Self-Server to Cloud. As I know and check. First I need to upgrade to version 6.x and then I can migrate right? Unfortunately my license is expired how can I buy a new license for Confluence?

I've edited some personal stuff from your answer to prevent spam and misuse.

Yes, you need to upgrade to 6.latest first.  I would strongly recommend going to version 5.13 and then to 6.latest.

You will need a new licence to upgrade, but as you are moving to Cloud, you may be able to do this with an evaluation licence.

Hi Nic,

You mean I can use the licence from cloud to for my self-host? At the moment from my admin panel I cannot see anything related to upgrade new version!

No.  You don't get a licence for Cloud, you get access to a service run for you.

You need to get a new licence from my.atlassian.com

Process to migrate our existing self-host confluence to Cloud.
1. Upgrade version from 5.5 to 5.13 and then 6.7 right? Before can upgrade need to buy a new license (can i use my current license from cloud)?
2. After latest Confluence upgrade I can process Migrating from Self hosted server to Cloud?

Again, there is no Cloud licence.   You'll need evaluation

Yes, upgrade from 5.5 to 5.13, then 6.  If you have never done an upgrade before, I would also recommend that you go to Confluence 6.0 before 6.latest.
