Issues with Rovo AI to Slack

Hi there, we are experiencing some issues with Rovo AI in slack this morning. We have Rovo Agents connected to some slack channels and would normally respond within the thread with an answer based on the content we have in Confluence. However we're seeing Rovo return with several different error messages:
  • :warning:Cloud site mapping does not exist. Please complete the app onboarding to proceed further.
  • Rate limited. Retry after 3s (type=MODEL.USE_CASE)
  • CircuitBreaker 'gemini-3-flash-preview' is OPEN and does not permit further calls
  • An unknown error occurred
  • Rate limited. Retry after 11s (type=MODEL.USE_CASE)

We've done the following to test and troubleshoot on our side:
  • Asking questions directly with the Rovo AI app in Slack - no responses returned
  • Removing the Rovo agent and adding it back - this seems to have fixed it for now, but still doesn't work with the Rovo App within slack, which makes me think there's still issues on Atlassian's end
  • Tried the Rovo WebApp - works fine

Attached screenshots of the error messages. Is this something we have to fix on our end or is this something Atlassian support team can help us with?CleanShot 2026-06-18 at 10.22.37@2x.pngCleanShot 2026-06-18 at 10.21.43@2x.pngCleanShot 2026-06-18 at 10.22.16@2x.pngCleanShot 2026-06-18 at 10.42.03@2x.pngCleanShot 2026-06-18 at 10.31.05@2x.png

Hello @amanda_vance

Many users, not only you, had this problem this morning, but now should be fine.

we're still experiencing it directly from the Rovo AI app in Slackimage.png

@amanda_vance

The "site mapping" error most often means the Rovo Slack app isn't properly linked to your Atlassian site, so an admin will likely need to re-run the onboarding to fix connection.

The other errors (rate limiting, open circuit breaker) are backend failures, not Confluence permissions issues (Probably) .Verify the bot's access and test Rovo via DM. If re-onboarding fails, open an Atlassian Support ticket with these backend errors and timestamps.

Best,

Arkadiusz 🤠
