We are a small restaurant group and love the confluence interface. Cost is an issue for us and we have about 30 employees who would currently be accessing the knowledge base.. Is there any way to set up a confluence knowledge base that does not require us to issue username and passwords to each employee?
There are only 2 people who create and maintain the knowledge base so ideally we would only like to provide access to those 2 people to keep costs down.
Thank you for your help in advance!
In a word, no. With Cloud, you would have to make pages viewable publically to only have 2 users and allow others to view. Or you have to create a third generic user login for all to use (with restricted permissions). Now that might violate the licensing terms, so be advised.
If you were running on server, you could put it behind a firewall, and then your access would be controlled there. (You can't do this with Cloud because there is no support for custom domains).
Thank you so much, I will look into single login access for each location. That would actually be perfect if it is allowed.

Hi @Usman Saleem and welcome to the community!
You can create your KB in one space and then you can make it public. Public means that everybody will have access to it.
Being on a free plan has its pros, but also its cons such as you can't manage permissions for your two users. These two users will have the same permissions and you will not be able to change them.

Thank you for your response. I am on the standard plan and just want to limit the amount of users I have since we are a small business. The standard plan seems sufficient for what we need currently.
