Is there a way to trigger the admin key on pages that are only edit locked out?

The admin key works great for troubleshooting but it only prompts on pages that are private. On pages that are public but edit access is restricted how do I trigger the admin mode so I can assist with issues in the editor?

It looks like it only works on restricted pages. I suggest you create a feature request. It would make the life of lot of admins easier.
