Is there a way to have one image, with links from selected parts of the image?

Matt Wilson March 8, 2020

Confluence allows for an image to be the source of a link, and a target. I am looking for a way for a diagram to be a navigation tool, so clicking on certain parts of a diagram links to more details. This requires hotspots in the diagram to be links, rather than the whole diagram. Can it be done in confluence?

Hi @Matt Wilson

Not by default - you'd need to consider an add-on such as:

Glad you name dropped us, Stephen. :)

The Gliffy team is really proud of our product's linking & embedding capabilities. Using a diagram to organize your site navigation sounds like a great idea, too. Hopefully you can build it out and see how it works with your free trial, Matt!
