Is there a way to get all deleted/trashed content via Confluence Cloud API?

We are looking for a way to get content that is deleted in our Confluence site, either via the V1 or V2 REST API.

We can call the associated endpoints for pages and blogposts, but can't seem to find a way to retrieve the deleted whiteboards, folders, or smart links.

@MergeAPI welcome to the Atlassian community

I believe that you can only pull pages through the API at this time.  It does not pull back custom content like whiteboards, folders, etc.

Thanks, @Brant Schroeder Unfortunate that there isn't a way to pull back this content programmatically at all. Hopefully there will be full event parity soon and we can fill in the gaps that way.

If it's fully purged, it's non recoverable. But if it's in the "trash" (when a user clicks delete), it's recoverable.

This is a critical piece to how we were able to build Content Retention Manager.

If you install the Lite (free) version, you can use the Content Audit to uncover all the content lingering in your trash. You'll need to be an admin, however, to see it all unless a user set the view permissions (this is a blindspot with Atlassian).
