Is there a way to control the Expand Macro through URL parameters or read permissions?

Question is in the title, but it is planned that, depending on the logged in user or via URL parameters, another expand block will open. And the others remain closed. Are there one or more ways to do it?

IFRC, the expand macro is controlled via client side script that is a part of the macro. I don't know of anyway of controlling its state via URL
