Is it possible to use user groups to set permission to pages and spaces?

Is it somehow possible to create groups (of users) and use it to set permissions to pages and spaces, instead of having to do this per user basis?

Hi Thomas,

yes, of course. If you have administrator permission, you can create groups here: 

http://<your-confluence-url>/admin/users/browsegroups.action

and add users to that group.

You can use these groups then to set other permissions.
