I created a new template in the space tools in content tools. I used draw.io function. But when someone click to create a page with this template and the draw.io where should be shown a diagram, it shows error 404, not possible to load.

Is it possible to use draw.io in template? And if not can you suggest another function, which have similar features as draw.io and works with template function.

Thank you,

Daniela

Hi Daniela. Yes, draw.io can be part of Confluence templates. One year ago, we published a blog post on this topic; see https://drawio-app.com/blog/add-draw-io-diagrams-into-confluence-page-templates/ for details. If you are still having issues, please get in touch with our tech support team (support@draw.io).

Best,
Bastian

Hi Bastian,

I have the same issue currently - previously these were working correctly but now only I (the template creator) get the diagrams. My users instead get:

I previously had the original diagrams the templated ones are based off stored on a page and in a location I and my line manager could access only, but have now moved them and ensured the team has edit access but same error.

Hi @Peter Vucemillo , thanks for your message.

As this is a technical issue, the best way to get your problem resolved is to contact our tech support at support@draw.io. I assume that it might be a permission issue, where the parent pages, single child pages, or the space have settings that hinder your colleagues from accessing them. Another possibility is that you recently migrated from draw.io for Confluence Data Center to Cloud. In this case, the templates need to be stored on a dedicated Confluence page (in Data Center, you are free to define the parent template page). Also, the formatting of the child pages can cause issues. But that's all guesswork. Please contact my colleagues in tech support, they will be able to help you out in no time once they know your settings, deployment etc.

Best,
Bastian
