Is it possible to "Watch" a template so you can get notified if it changes?

I have a few global templates that get periodically enhanced. Some users are wanting to be notified when templates get updated. Does Confluence support this?

Hi @Darrel Jackson,

unfortunately, I don't think so.

I guess I'd solve it by having a usual Confluence page as kind of release notes for global templates - or one for each template depending on how often you're changing it. Then all your users can watch this page instead.

Of course, this has the downside that the person editing the template has to remember to record this change on the release notes page.

I'd be happy to hear if someone else has a better solution.
