Is it possible to make the content of a Code Block macro a link a plantuml code macro?

I am using Code Block macros to show the plantuml code associated with UML diagrams. This decision was primarily driven to have the plantuml code shown along with the UML diagram on exported versions of the pages. Given that the plantuml code will change frequently over time I would like to make the code inside the Code Block a "link" to the source plantuml code, so that it will automatically get updated anytime after a change to the original plantuml code.

Think this is not possible.
The code can only be entered directly into the Code Block Macro.
A link is not possible.
