Is it possible to label the page depending on what variable option the page creator has selected?

Hi there,

I want to add variables to all our custom built templates which prompts the page creator to select an option:

• Public
• Internal Use
• Restricted
• Confidential

Is it possible to maybe set it up so that when the user selects one of the options, it adds a new label to that page with that selection?

Say they picked Internal Use, I want Internal Use to be added as a label.

@Martin Barring an automation feature, you could add instructional text on the template to prompt the page creator to add the appropriate label.

Did you check Automations feature in Confluence (https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/create-automation-rules-in-confluence/)? Maybe this can help.

I don't know other solutions that will solve your issue.

Sadly there isn't any documents to cover this so its probably not possible. Such a shame because we need a way to show that we're classifying our pages, and labels would help us to achieve this.
