I am looking to use Pages within Confluence to document some processes and/or projects within my organisation but require these documents to be ordered to increase ease of navigation. I will also need to use this title/ job code further down the line for time-writing purposes if possible, ultimately creating one job code that is used at every stage and level of the project's lifecycle in order to streamline document and project reporting and tracking. Does this feature exist within Confluence already? If not can anyone recommend a suitable Macro that has a free trial in order to be used as a proof of concept in order to get budget approval if it were to be rolled out in a larger capacity?
You can specify a title when using the "Create from Template" macro in Confluence (at least in Server / Data Center - unsure about Cloud).
We use this feature on a summary page to create weekly meeting notes. Just place the "Create From Template" Button at the top of the page and when configuring the button, it wall ask for the title of the page to be created. Obviously, you will need to specify how to make the page name slightly different each time (like adding a date) because you cant have two pages with the same name in a single space, but at least you have some conformity.
I hope this helps !
I think I will be able to utilise this yes, thank you I had passed over this function unknowingly.

Are there other variables that can be used for title? I've been trying to find a list of them, but coming up short.

as far as I'm aware, this does not directly exist in Confluence.
However it is possible to use "labels" like e.g Project-x to label projects to allow tracking and reporting.
