I am creating a table within a Confluence page. This table has 20 rows, which needs scrolling vertically to see the bottom rows. I want to keep the top row fixed. This way the user experience is improved, otherwise the scrolling does not show the header row, it's difficult to see which column has the value.
Is there such a feature available in Confluence?
If available, please provide details of any user manuals / help documentation that I can get the details from.
Thanks in advance.
@Arul Subramaniam
go to table options and select header row and it will float as you scroll.
Hi @Arul Subramaniam ,
Yes, you can freeze (make sticky) the header row of a table in Confluence Cloud.
BTW, The first row is the header by default or you can format additional rows as headers by selecting the row, right-clicking, and choosing “Turn into header row.”

The sticky header row works for me in most cases, but it seems to work randomly when I have many long tables on the page.

Hi @Arul Subramaniam ,
If you have our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app installed for your instance, you may find the Freeze first N rows/columns option in the Table Filter macro settings.
The native sticky header feature indeed is not stable especially if your tables are big and contain a lot of data.
