For the expander / dropdown:

<span class="expand-icon aui-icon aui-icon-small aui-iconfont-chevron-right">&nbsp;</span>

On a wiki page, I cannot CMD / CTRL+F search for the content within it, unless it is expanded manually.

Is there a workaround to allow for this functionality?

@John Cao - Hello!

Presumably, you're talking about hitting CMD-F in a browser window. That'd have to be sorted on the browser level as it can only see what's actually displayed.

However, the content is still searchable on the Confluence level - I searched for a phrase from one of our Expand macros and the first result was the right one. (Unless there's an app that automatically forces all Expand macros to expand but that would kinda ruin what Expand macros are for :) )

Also, if you make your content available publicly, the contents of the Expand macro are indexed by search engines. We specifically tested that as we use K15t's Scroll Viewport to generate our documentation site from Confluence.
