Dear Atlassian-Community / Support-Team,

I was trying to invite my team members, but unfortunately they can't login.

I followed the following procedure:

  • Send invitations to my team members
  • team members (a) try to login / (b) register
    • (a) they can't login because they don't have a password, even with reseting the account it doesn't work
    • (b) they can't register because the account already exist

Hope you can help me. Looking forward to an answer.

Hi @Kevin Truong ,

For Cloud, the password will be the same as the Atlassian ID and password, they can try resetting the password by the following steps:

  1. Go to the login screen for your Confluence site.
  2. Choose Can't log in? at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter your email address, then tap Send recovery link.
  4. Click the recovery link in the email to finish the process.

For server, if they can they can check forgot password and can reset the password.

Hi Ravya,

thank you for your quick reply.

As described "(...) even with reseting the account it doesn't work", reseting the account unfortunately doesn't work... I tried again today, but still doesn't work.

Do you have another suggestion?
