Inserted Table can't be moved without text around it moving

I'm trying to move a table from the left margin to be indented the same as the text above it. Whenever I do this, it moves all of the text below the table as well which I don't want to be moved. I know I'm missing something here but don't know what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Just going off of what you described I would suggest using page layouts and sections https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-formatting-to-your-page/
