Inline Comment resolved by anonymous

Michael Simon December 3, 2023

Hello community,

I have imported a confluence server export to datacenter and am experiencing the issue, that my resolved inline comments show "Resolved by anonymous" instead of the username who resolved it:

How and where can I fix this?

Kind regards

Hi @Michael Simon This probably is an inline comment from an inactive user. Or do you have this for all inline comments?

Hello @Dave Mathijs ,

the user is active AND I have this issue with all resolved inline comments.
I can even see the right userkey (which matches the userkey in user_mapping) in the database table CONTENT column "LASTMODIFIER".

Different message with the same issue I just found:

Any help is appreciated.

I'm afraid I won't be able to help you further. I never experienced this behaviour before. Let's see what other community members are answering, otherwise I suggest you submit a support request directly with Atlassian as it is the consequence of an import.

Hi @Michael Simon

1. Check if the confluence server user is active/exists in data center confluence and is licensed in data center
i.e. Go to confluence admin settings --> User management. Check user here.

2. Check if the user is having required access on the confluence data center space/page.

Hey @Rilwan Ahmed

yes, as stated before: user is active and has the necessary access rights for the space and page. The username is also properly shown in the same inline-comment thread before resolving it.
