So it looks like my company will be move on from Atlassian Confluence and me and few people still use our wiki site and i have been told they are closing it down and to back up what we need however i have so much data on there plus other data i might not know about until i need to look it up so i want to know if it is possible to back the whole site for offline broswing or a way to back up so i can keep a copy on my system or usb hard drive
@Stefan you or your admin should check out the information in Site Settings -> Administration -> Backup Manager. This will provide you what you need to back up the entire site, which can then be imported into ANOTHER Confluence site, and is the only way to backup an entire site.
One thing you may want to consider is keeping your current site but deactivating all but the necessary users, which will decrease your overall cost but preserve the site as-is.
If you only want to back up specific spaces or pages, you have more options.

I hope this helps!
Hi @Stefan
I would do what @Andy Gladstone is suggesting:
1. Backup your site
2. Create another site or reduce the users to below 10 to the existing site to make the bill to go to zero.
We at Revyz working an automated backup solution for Confluence, we are not there as of yet. We will have a free export capability once the service is built, where in you can export data in csv of json. As of now we have a solution only for Jira.

I am not the admin so i cant do step 2 and i am trying to copy the whole wiki we have by using Cyotek Webcopy or HTTrack but so far not had much luck with them. I need a way to rip the whole site as the Admin will be closing the account in Dec and we will lose everything on there

@Stefan have you been able to back up the site using the instructions I initially posted? Let's work on a successful backup, then we can talk about the restore process.

Why not? If you backup on a Space by Space basis, you can create a new Cloud account and import the Spaces there to rebuild your site and retain your documentation.

Try opening a Free account and importing one Space from your current site before giving up!

There are two different admins in Confluence, a site admin and space admin. Space admins will only be able to back up their specific Spaces, but Site Admins will be able to back up the entire site. I suggest you ask your current admin for privileges. They are committed to shutting it down anyway, why should they not allow you the opportunity to preserve as much as you can?

Right i just spoke to the admin and they dont want to pay for it anymore so is that is the case then i need to know if i create an account for just me get it copied to my account then how much that would cost a month as i will pay for it out of my own pocket and at least i can still use it for a while
