Include Page Macro not working (because of colons?)

When I try to use the Include Page macro and select a page within the same space to include, I get an error message even though the page was able to be selected in the macro from the drop down menu.

The page name I am including has a colon in it, and I found a ticket from Confluence Server that said the colon wouldn't allow the include page macro to work, so I'm guessing that is the issue in the cloud too? Are there any work arounds/solutions besides renaming the page?includepage.PNG

Hello Heather,

I hope you're having a nice day so far!

Currently, it is happening due to a bug, which indeed is not possible to add a page using the include page macro when the title contain a colon ":" and returns this error message instead:

The bug status is waiting for release, so we should receive updates on it soon! :)
We suggest adding yourself as a watcher on the bug report, to receive future updates, including the fix for this bug.

For now, we don't have a valid workaround other than renaming the page and removing temporarily the colon from the title.
Although we don't have an ETA for the fix release, we are expecting to hear updates soon on the bug report.

Hope that helps!

Kindest Regards,
Jessica
