Jay,

You can upload Office documents as an attachment in Confluence, the same way you would do for a PDF or an image.

See Upload Files for that information.

We do have an Excel Macro but it is going away soon, the same for our Office Word Macro.

I'm tagging your question as a Marketplace question as well in case any vendors have suggestions on add-ons that could replace the missing functionality once the Word and Excel macros are discontinued.
