Images disappearing from confluence

Is this a Confluence bug?

Here's the steps to reproduce:

Use MAC OS10.15.6

Use Chrome 84.0.4147.105

• Create custom confluence page template
• Add table to page
• Add image to table cell (in my case I'm adding  very small-sized svgs as part of a UX symbol library)
• Publish and view page.

Issue: The images all render perfectly for about a day or two, then eventually the images disappear, and are replaced with the placeholder dingbat.

Is anyone having this issue? I have another single svg in another table that is rendering just fine. Is this because it's a large group in one table? If so, why does it render fine for a few days, and then eventually disappear?

Hello @Laura Rillera !

As I understand, SVG files are not displayed correctly after a random number of days, even when they previously worked as expected.

Currently, this behavior is being tackled under this report:

One of our Product Managers did send a message there recently! I would say that interacting with the thread over there will probably push the conversation in a good direction.
