If I change the name of a space, will I have to change all links that refer to this space?

I would like to change the name of our People & Culture Confluence Space but I am unsure if this will ruin all the links in different pages and spaces that refer to the People & Culture space? Or will the links be updated automatically? Thanks!

No, if you will change a name all links will work because inside url's you have space key. Even if you decide change space key links will work too. Confluence will remember old space key and redirect to new link.
