Hello everyone,
I'm encountering an issue when trying to embed a draw.io diagram into a Confluence page.
I am using the "Embed draw.io diagram" macro to insert a diagram stored in my Google Drive. My Google account is the same one I use for my Atlassian account.
However, every time I select the diagram from my Drive, I receive the following error message: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR.
Could someone please advise on what might be causing this issue or suggest any potential solutions?
Best regards,
Matute
Hi @Matias Cravero :)
The “Embed draw.io diagram” macro works best with publicly available URLs. When embedding private Google Drive files, authentication often fails, this is likely the cause of the error you’re seeing.
As a workaround, instead of embedding directly from Google Drive, try uploading your diagram into Confluence using the draw.io diagram macro. This way, your file is stored within Confluence itself and avoids any access or authentication issues.
Let me know if that solves it :)
Best,
MJ

Hi @Tinker Fadoua thanks for your response.
After several tests, I discovered that the problem embedding the diagram was related to the browser I was using (Brave) :/ .
Therefore, I decided to create the diagram directly in Confluence.
Thanks also for your help.

It's been happening to me since I switched browsers.
The problem is not Brave or Firefox, the problem is that the draw.io login still depends on third-party cookies, so after re-enabling this feature in the browser settings the login works with no problem

@Rodrigo Garcia Martin My best recommendation will be to check if your browser is supported in the Atlassian Ecosystem.

Hi @MJ Valencia -drawio diagrams- ,
We're experiencing the same "INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR" problem but with OneDrive on different browsers (Firefox and Chrome). While some users can authorise without any problems, others cannot.
The diagram files are located on our Business SharePoint site, to which all users have access. For reasons relating to access and editing, we do not want to upload them to Confluence.
Logging out of Microsoft and clearing the browser cache did not resolve the issue.
Best regards,
Daniel.
