I am completely new to Confluence and have been asked to migrate 7.19.17 to Confluence Cloud. Can anyone help me? In the help about dialog there is something under licensing called "Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant 3.7.0" but I cannot even find that to run.

Hello @José Azevedo
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
There are many resources available for you to consult.
The Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant is a free app provided by Atlassian. You can get it from the Atlassian Marketplace.

And here is a starting point for planning your migration, from Atlassian.

Here is another page with high level information and more links to resources.

One of the trickiest parts of migrating from Data Center to Cloud is dealing with any third party apps that have been added to your Confluence instance. Not all app vendors provide a version of their app that can be used with Confluence Cloud. When they do, sometimes there is not an automated migration method for the app data. Sometimes the version of the app for Cloud doesn't provide the same functionality.
Another challenge is addressing any integrations there might be between the Confluence app and other systems.
If you are concerned about handling this on your own you might conside working with an Atlassian Solution Partner that specializes in Cloud migrations. There is a directory where you can find such partners:
https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/
(Disclosure: I work for Praecipio , an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner with a specialization in Cloud migrations.)
Hi Trudy, thank you sincerely.
Kind regards
Jo
