I want to delete unnecessary files on my confluence & Jira intance? What can I delete ? Please Help!

I'm running out of storage on my Confluence & Jira Server and I want to delete unnecesarry files on the system to cleanup some space  without damaging the performance. What temporary files or things I can I delete. My Server is Oracle  Linux and my version of confluence is 7.20 .

Specifically:

• Old log backups
• Old or excessively large log files
• Old automated XML backups.

Specific directories you may want to check:

• <Jira home directory>/log
• <Jira home directory>/export

In export directory there are support zips you generate, various exports from plugins and backups.

There might also be something in tmp directory. But this should be generally enough for a while.
