I received the deactivation email in June but unfortunately missed it. I recently tried to access my Confluence site and found that it is unavailable. If my data is still recoverable, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in restoring access to my site or helping me recover my documents.
Welcome to the community.
Because this involves specific billing adjustments or manual site restoration, The Atlassian Billing and Licensing team will need to handle this.
- To get this resolved, please follow these steps to create a support ticket:
- Open a browser in Incognito/Private mode (this is important to ensure you aren't automatically logged into the suspended account).
- Go to the Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.
- Under How can we help you?, select Quotes and Plan Changes.
- Under Choose a topic, select Change cloud plan.
- Fill in the details.
- If the message box isn't visible, click on “Need more help?” to make the description field and submit button appear.
In your description, please explain the situation and include a link to this forum post so the agent has all the context.
thank you very much, i will do what you have asked me to do.

Hi @Tebeebi Jombai ,
If your site was deactivated due to inactivity and you missed the notification email, the only way to recover your data is by contacting Atlassian Support directly at https://support.atlassian.com. Community members can't restore sites or access your data from here.
In your ticket, make sure to include your site URL, the email associated with your account, and mention that you missed the deactivation notice in June.
Now, being honest — depending on how much time has passed since the deactivation, your data may or may not still be recoverable. Atlassian has a retention window after deactivation, and once that passes, the data is purged. So I'd recommend reaching out as soon as possible.
Hope you can get your documents back. Good luck!
