When I set up our confluence cloud account we could only use <our company>.jira.com.
I think some plugins on 3rd party apps (particularly Asana) doesn't recognise our URL as a confluence url (atllassian url?).
So I'd like to change to <our company>.atlassian.net - will that be as simple as changing in the app URLs?
Hello @Steve Dowey
you can rename the site/app URL subdomain in Atlassian Cloud, but you cannot manually choose or swap the domain type itself. Atlassian’s supported Cloud format is atlassian.net, and URL changes are handled from Atlassian Administration → Apps → App URLs. The old URL then redirects to the new one.
yep, I would also be careful here because the main risk is usually not the URL change itself, but the impact on connected apps/integrations.
Atlassian does support updating the app/site URL from Atlassian Administration, and the old URL will redirect to the new one afterwards. But Atlassian also explicitly notes that Marketplace apps and third-party integrations may be affected by the change.
Hello @Steve Dowey
I recommend that you consult directly with Atlassian technical support.
Changing the site URL can impact use of third party apps. You may want to contact the support teams of the vendors of each app you use to file and out if the will be impacted
Other impacts of such a change are listed in this document.

I was not aware that the early days of the SaaS product had a different domain naming convention. I'll be interested to see what other community members say on this topic.
