I have admin access rights in confluence, but I do not find the invite/add/ delete users option in confluence. Could you please advice.
I suspect you have a Confluence that is set up to use an external directory for the users, and that directory is read-only. Check under Admin -> User directories

Also whenever I login confluence automatically my ID gets recreated. So the admin can see 2 id's in my name.

This sounds like a badly broken user directory set up. I think you need to talk to your admins about fixing that before we can look at the invite/add/remove problem.
