I created a page, now can't upload docs to it?

Double checked space restrictions and there are none. I created a page within that space, was initially able to upload documents, but now getting the prompt "you'll need to ask permission to insert files here". Any ideas about this restriction or how I can remove it, please?

Please ask your space if you have Add Attachments permission.
