I have a separated workspace and i can't delete any comments in it. I am admin and seem to have permission to delete comments. This regards bort resolved and open comments.
@Eva Daskalaki
I assume you mean the comments at the bottom of the page, but you could mean inline comments.
can you share a ss of what you are seeing?
you should be able to click the ellipses and then select delete.
Are you able to maybe take a loom of what is happening when you try?
@Eva Daskalaki You mentioned that you seem to have permissions to delete comments.
Is this because:
If you are both in a group and your user is listed individually, I believe that the User permissions override the Group permissions in the case that Delete is on for your group, but off for your user.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
THank you for the follow up question - both my group and my user has the right to delete. And I am an admin in this space and out installation. I have deleted comments in other spaces.

@Eva Daskalaki Is this issue for comments on all pages in the space?
According to this page, https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/comment-on-pages-and-blog-posts/:
If comments are allowed in a space:
you can add comments in a space.
you can edit the comments you added.
you can delete your own comments, but only if there are no replies to your comment.
Whether deleting your own comment or a comment from someone else, keep in mind that deleted comments can’t be restored.
Space admin controls
There is no permission that controls comments across the entire site, but space admins can:
edit any comments in their space. The timestamp on a comment always indicates when the comment was last edited.
delete any comments in their space and give other people the power to remove comments with the 'Remove Comments' permission.
prevent comments from being created in their space by removing the 'Add Comments' permission from the 'confluence-users' or 'users' groups, and also the anonymous users and all other users and groups.
Are you a space admin for the space?
If not, you may be subject to the first item I bolded above. If you are a space admin, there may be a case that you have to delete replies to the comment before you can delete the comment—although this is not mentioned on this page, I've seen references to this in similar questions/responses in the community.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
This wouldn't be the case:
Space permissions are additive. If a user is granted permissions as an individual or as a member of one or more groups, Confluence will combine these permissions together.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Hi @Eva Daskalaki , thanks for your post.
What happens when you try to delete a comment? Nothing?
Is it possible that there are some page editing restrictions where you are trying to edit the comments? You can verify this if the padlock icon is red on the page.
https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/add-or-remove-page-restrictions/
Please check out the documentation here and let us know if it helps you.
Best wishes

The delete option is not available when i klick on the options button in the comments (maybe there is a setting i can't find?)
The padlock is white and set to allow editing to all in the space.
