I am currently using the Meeting Notes Page feature in Confluence and I have found that I like to use the Actions Items feature, however, there is nowhere to post information about how that Action Item came to be complete. Of course the comments section is useful, but is there a better way to post a comment to specific Actions as they are checked off and resolved? Thank you!
Hey Krystal - What do you think is the biggest detriment to using the comments in response to completing an action item?
One possibility I can think of is to actually amend the comment with details on how it was completed, but this seems just as clunky. Another idea might be to include a page link in the action item to a blank page where you detail out a 'fix' or possibly link to a JIRA issue where the issue is fleshed out with a resolution a bit more.
Thank you so much for your prompt response! I believe that the biggest detriment is to organization. At times, there are quite a few items and separating the "resolution" from the Action Item seems to put the information at risk of being lost.
Including a link is also a great idea, but since these are typically just notes from meetings, there aren't links to JIRA issues at this point.

Since you're looking for a direct tie-back to the action item, then I think even a separate Confluence section where 'Resolutions' live would be a good alternative. You can have a link in the action item that will go back to a page where that item is expanded into more detail and/or what steps were taken to resolve.
