I have a parent page - Parent. Under that I have 5 child pages, A,B,C,D,E. The parent page can only be accessed by Group X. My problem: I have a new group Group B, that needs access to Child E. I tried adding this group in the permission, but they still cannot access page E. The next step will be to grant access to Parent page. Would that by default grant them access to all the child pages? How can I avoid that, and have Group B access only child page E?

@Debduti Sengupta

You are correct. View permissions are inherited. You need to grant group B access to the parent page and then add additional restrictions on the other pages, A, C, D, E.

Thanks,

Kian
