How to work with the new layouts?

Is there any way to show the current layouts of a page in the new confluence?
Back in the day it was very clear where layouts start and where they stop. they had little borders around the the layout block. now with the new style, I find it very hard to see where a layout starts and where it stops.

the only indication is the little dots on the left side of a page.

please bring back the clear version where you understand the format.

Ah yeah @johannes_kiesbauer , I agree that it can be a bit challenging to distinguish where one container ends and another one starts 👀
Currently, there's no way to configure this and I did find the following feature suggestion related to it: CONFCLOUD-80842: Improve column visual clarity in edit mode for better layout control 

I also work in a dark mode/theme, so it's a bit trickier there 🫠

Anyway, I agree that it would be nice if this were configurable on a profile/user level.
