How to view, edit and directly change ConfiForms entry through links

Daniel Schimanek October 16, 2025

I have created a ConfiForms form to manage the rentals of training cases, which works great.

There I create ICS files to remind users at calculated dates about certain actions like "confirm the reservation" or "ship the training case".

Now I would like to add links to the ICS files to

  1. View the related entry
  2. Edit the related entry
  3. Change the status of the "State" field to "confirmed"
  4. Change the status of the "State" field to "canceled"

just to make it easier for the less experienced user.

Is there a way to achive this?

Form name: APTrainingequipment
pageID: 2132301241

Thanks, Daniel

Hi @Daniel Schimanek , thanks for your post.

Have you already checked out the product documentation for this here - https://wiki.vertuna.com/spaces/CONFIFORMS/pages/5341879/Creating+a+file+with+calendar+invitation+-+ics+file+in+Confluence+and+sending+it+via+email+with+ConfiForms ?

If so and you still need further personalization help, I would open a ticket to the vendor. As this is a paid app, they can provide assistance and really are the best placed to do this, being the experts on the tool.

You can open a ticket here if you would like to - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211860/confiforms-data-forms-workflows-for-confluence?hosting=datacenter&tab=support

Best wishes

Hi @Valerie Knapp ,
thanks for your quick answer and the links!

Yes, I was following the documentation and am able to create and send ICS files.

As I was not able to find information about the link topic, I created this question here - that others can also find the discussion and hopefully a solution here 😊

Thanks again!
