From here, I selected one of the templates to use - I was then prompted to create an Atlassian account although I've been logged into my company's Confluence and using it for a while now. So I entered my company email address, the same one I use for that Confluence, but I was then prompted to create my own Atlassian website... Why wasn't my email address detected and automatically linked to my company's Confluence, and how do I utilize one of those templates to create a page there, in my company's Confluence spaces...?
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I suspect you are not using Atlassian accounts to get into your Company Confluence, and you don't have an Atlassian account for your work address (if you did, the "sign up" screen there would have said "there's an Atlassian account with that email, please log in with that")
I'm afraid you'll have to download and add the templates to your Confluence manually.
Doesn't Atlassian accounts/products come w/ the company Confluence subscription...? Why are they not a connected experience...?
How do I manually do that? I only see Word and PDF options when I click on "Export".

Nope, Atlassian accounts are separate entities, and they are only one of the ways of doing user accounts in Atlassian products.
Server and Data Center Atlassian stuff doesn't use them at all. Cloud can use them, and it's the default or "internal" user system, but you could also use Google accounts or Atlassian Access.
The fact you entered your company email address and it did not say "there is an Atlassian account with that email address" suggests that you're using one of the other options.
I'd just want to check the account handling before going down the "manual install" route. Is your company account on a url ending with "atlassian.net"? (Like aclsandbox.atlassian.net)? If it is, then you might want to check the use directory method - ask an admin whether it's Google or Access.
